Hey guys, this is kind of a 2 part question. The first question is if Final Cut Pro works as well on hackintosh as it does on Mac, as example, my 2011 iMac can still deal with 1080p footages just fine with minimum lag, but I'm not sure if this is because of hardware or software optimization with Final Cut Pro. My second question is, if it is mainly software optimization and Final Cut Pro will work as effectively as it would on a real Mac, what would be the best "bang for you buck" hackintosh build for video editing? My budget is $1000 or under (preferably, but there isn't really any budget maximum, but of course be reasonable).
