I have a nicely working hackintosh for over a year and ever since I built it, I have been facing lagging , jumping , skipping mouse problem. I even disassembled all my hardware thinking it was stemming from faulty cable connections, reinstalled some kexts, edited my config in case my hd 530 causes some troubles etc.. It turned out, the bluetooth frequency has been interfering with that of WiFi .
As a result:
- bought a new mouse ( logitech m171) and got rid of my old one.
- changed bandwidth of Wifi from 40mhz to 20 mhz.
- plugged in bluetooth receiver nearby to my mouse rather than back of the pc case. and plugged usb wifi adapter to back of my pc, so that these two are far away from each others.
- started using mousepad.
now it is working just perfectly. I hope this helps some other people.
