High Sierra Install Failure

I’m getting the error during install:

The path /System/Installation/Packages/OSInstall.mpkg appears to be missing or damaged.

Now when installing 10.12, you’re prompted if you want to use APFS while setting it up. On 10.13, there is no checkbox in sight, making me think that Apple is forcing the APFS and overwriting/moving that file for whatever reason.

I was following a guide that uses MacPwn to create the USB installer, and I found an EFI folder from a Z270MX build, Gigabyte as well, thinking that my system wouldn’t differ much from the Micro ATX boards. I’ve also got my BIOS Settings properly configured.

I’m a noob as you can tell, any workarounds for this?

Here’s my build:

i7 7700k Gigabyte Z270X GTX 1070 16GB 3000Mhz RAM
