I write just to confirm the compatibility of MacOS Sierra with the model CM6870 by Asus. I installed macos sierra 10.12.6 and I have not encountered any problem.
PS: I used the config. plist "Desktops > Nvidia gen 2 "
P.p. 's: the only component that I changed is the video card (GTX 1050). However even the GT640 worked.
