So I had Sierra up and running 100% working a couple months ago with the help of a Redditor. I tried to do upgrade to High Sierra myself, first making a True Image backup from my Windows partition. Alas, the upgrade went bad, and my backup doesn't want to restore (it always "completes" without finishing the main partition). So I'm trying to nuke both OSs and start over, starting with macOS first.
I'm created the USB through the terminal, installed Clover with only Emu and OsxAptioFix2, which I swapped out for the free2000 variant. I then installed Lilu, NvidiaGraphicsFixup, IntelMausiEthernet, FakeSMC, USBInjectAll, and VoodooHDA, all of which are the newest version as of today. I also threw in the apfs.efi into drivers64UEFI. My config.plist was made from a combination of corpnewt's vanilla guide and looking at my config.plist for Sierra. I booted up the USB, selected it in Clover, formatted my drive as APFS, then installed. The first part of the install went super quick, almost too quick. Then it rebooted. I booted back into my USB, then selected the Install macOS partition on the SSD. It loads up, and starts installing, but then exits with a message something along the lines of "Service exited, killed: 9...". Then a bunch more text pops up and the whole system reboots.
