I'm parting out my build, and have been looking into getting M.2 working. The general consensus seems to be too use repoman's methods to boot from NVMe M.2. However, I've also read that simply eliminating the 512e sectors in favor of 4Kn let's the drive work natively with no next patches needed. Source
Is there a reason I don't see this recommended as the default route? Does anyone have a list of M.2s that support 4Kn (the Samsung line doesn't appear to.
