Hello, /r/Hackintosh,
Hopefully, you can bear with me. I'm a parent to 2 children. Roughly a year ago, a friend recently sold his Hackintosh to me since I was looking to get an Apple based computer environment. It's got a GTX 960 and 16GB RAM with an i7 4770K.
Now, my children are growing up and wanting to play games. All their friends are on PC with games ranging from Minecraft to Euro Truck Simulator, Roblox and more. They are currently stuck on Minecraft as other children go out and explore on Windows based platforms.
I've looked into Bootcamp but not being that tech savvy, I wouldn't feel comfortable doing anything, especially this is my work computer as well.
My question is, I've found something called Parallels. It looks promising from what I have read but could it play games? Especially Euro Truck Simulator since all my child's friends seem to be playing with steering wheels which I think I might get for his upcoming birthday.
Thank you to the people who input or can help in any way.
