I just updated to Sierra 10.12.6 using the iMac 15,1 SMBIOS. I had to fix the display output because it was giving me black screen, but everything works ok. Had to update the Nvidia driver though.
To fix the blackscreen issue, ( Thanks u/blazingsmokey https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/3m6da9/help_10105_gtx970_graphics_black_screen_on_boot/cvcoyjh/)
you need to go into S/L/E. Then, right click AppleGraphicsControl.kext and select "Show package contents". Once you're inside, browse to contents/plugins. Do the same with the AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy.kext and once you are in Contents, edit the Info.plist. Look for:
</dict> <key>ConfigMap</key> <dict>
Then it all depends in your SMBIOS. In my case it was <key>Mac-42FD25EABCABB274</key>
If
<string>ConfigX</string>
then change ConfigX to none.
X can be from 1 to 3
