power management i5 6600k, imac 17,1

Hey guys.. so if i generate the ssdt using pikealpha, my cpu goes up to turbo (4.00ghz) for things like watching youtube videos. In general, the frequency is much higher with the ssdt

Without SSDT, it goes up to 4ghz under heavy loads but stays in the 1-2ghz range for simple tasks such as watching videos, MS word, etc.

However, without SSDT, things like power nap and "start up automatically after a power failure" options are no longer visible in energy saver

CPU Ratio Info- with ssdt:

CPU Low Frequency Mode.............: 800 MHz CPU Maximum non-Turbo Frequency....: 3500 MHz CPU Maximum Turbo Frequency........: 4000 MHz CPU P-States [ (35) 37 40 ] CPU C3-Cores [ 0 1 3 ] CPU C6-Cores [ 0 2 3 ] CPU C7-Cores [ 1 2 ] CPU P-States [ (9) 25 35 37 40 ] CPU C3-Cores [ 0 1 2 3 ] CPU C6-Cores [ 0 1 2 3 ] CPU C7-Cores [ 1 2 3 ] CPU P-States [ 9 25 (35) 37 39 40 ] CPU P-States [ (9) 25 33 35 37 39 40 ] CPU P-States [ 9 21 25 33 35 37 39 (40) ] CPU P-States [ 9 21 25 26 33 (35) 37 39 40 ]

[WITHOUT SSDT]

CPU Ratio Info- without ssdt:

CPU Low Frequency Mode.............: 800 MHz CPU Maximum non-Turbo Frequency....: 3500 MHz CPU Maximum Turbo Frequency........: 4000 MHz CPU P-States [ (10) 35 ] CPU C3-Cores [ 0 1 ] CPU C6-Cores [ 0 1 2 ] CPU C7-Cores [ 1 2 ] CPU P-States [ (10) 34 35 ] CPU C3-Cores [ 0 1 2 ] CPU C6-Cores [ 0 1 2 3 ] CPU C7-Cores [ 1 2 3 ] CPU P-States [ (10) 12 34 35 ] CPU C3-Cores [ 0 1 2 3 ]

Is this expected behaviour? Is it possible to add more P-states near the bottom end? It looks like it goes from 900mhz to 2100 mhz or something.

Or do i have it all wrong (probably). Thanks!
