New Hackintosh Graphics Issues

I just finished building a hackintosh for my dad. The video card is recognized in system report as a PCIe GPU, but not as a GT 1030, and it is only getting 7MB VRAM. I was having this same problem with integrated graphics before this and figured that getting a graphics card would fix it. I used multibeast to install the drivers and used the Nvidea web drivers boot flag. I have tried reinstalling OS Sierra multiple times but nothing works. Im also getting strange graphics artifacting on the login screen and on the tool bar (ex: apple logo turns into scribbles) and animations such as the launchpad are very sluggish (most likely due to the 7MB of VRAM). I am new to this and I have no clue what to do. Thank you. (Ill post pics of the artifacting when i get home)

Specs: CPU: i5 6600k Motherboard: MSI B150M Bazooka GPU: Gigabyte GT 1030 PSU: EVGA 500W
