I have had a quick look around to see roughly what I need, from what I can tell, anything with a BCM94360 will work out of the box. All I need now is a cheap, reputable card with one of these chips (nothing fancy).
My requirements are:
- Works out of the box
- Doesn't need bluetooth (but that seems standard with most cards)
- Will continue to be supported in future releases (I know this can't be guaranteed)
- Range is only about 4m through 1-2 walls and speed is not important
- The cheaper the better
My current solution is an old USB adapter I had lying around and it disconnects every day or two requiring a reboot
