So, I know you can find people providing preconfigured High Sierra beta VMDK image files for use with Virtual Box or VMWare, but I want to install from scratch for fun. I made a VMWare-bootable ISO. The only problem is I either can't get Disk Utility within the booted install env to see the HDD image I tell VMWare to make, or I use one from a download, and it yells about the recovery server not being accessible. What can I do to make this work? Host is Win10 x64 with 16GB of RAM and an Intel Core i7 3770k CPU.
