Bottom line, I have a Dell e6520 laptop. I have tried for a couple years now, over and over to try to properly patch an extracted DSDT. I have never once been successful. Despite this I've got the damned thing running Sierra pretty smoothly. The one thing that does not work is my battery meter. Without a properly patched DSDT with ACPIBatteryManager installed I crash on every boot. At this point I would be more than willing to pay a fair price for assistance, but I have never seen anyone offering the service.
Does anyone do this? CAN anyone do this or do you actually need to have the machine in front of you to patch properly?
