I have an HP Envy m6 1125dx that is running sierra very well! The only problems are wifi and audio. At the moment, I am using a usb wifi card which works well, but I would prefer to replace the internal one.
HP applies a whitelist to the BIOS/UEFI to only allow certain cards. The supported cards are:
Atheros 9485GN 802.11b/g/n
Atheros WB225 802.11b/g/n
Broadcom 4313GN 802.11b/g/n
Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230
Mediatek MT7630E 802.11bgn
Ralink RT5390R 802.11b/g/n
Ralink RT3290LE 802.11b/g/n
Atheros AR9565 802.11b/g/n
Are any of these cards compatable?
