Apple is aiming to unveil its next generation iPhones on September 12th, reports TechCrunch, corroborating earlier reports from Mac4Ever and the WSJ. The company has yet to announce the date in case it needs to shift it. Apple was planning to host the event at the Steve Jobs Theater; however, the venue may not be ready in time.It doesn’t announce early in case it needs to shift the date based on whether it feels it’s ready. The additional factor, as indicated in the Journal, is whether the Steve Jobs Auditorium on its new campus is ready to host or not.
In a drone video from five days ago, we can see work still ongoing inside and around the Steve Jobs Theater. If completed in time, the theater would be a perfect venue to unveil the 10th anniversary iPhone 8.
