So I recently got my hands on a MacBook Pro that runs El Capitan and decided to give a go setting up a hackintosh on my pc.
CPU: intel i7 4790k
Mobo: msi z97 gaming 5
GPU: nvidia 760 Sc 2gb
I was able to set up the installer just fine with clover . When at the boot selection menu I was presented with a legacy and UEFI boot option for the USB, so I chose UEFI. The installer booted up fine and I started the install process.
The install process completed and my computer restarted, but into Windows. I figured I would just restart and boot back into the installer to finish the installation, except now my boot menu only has a legacy boot option for the USB (that gives a "reboot and select proper boot device" error). I thought maybe the installation media was corrupted so I tried to recreate it, and still no uefi boot option. I even tried inserting one of my Linux USB's and the uefi boot option for them is gone as well. I have tried resetting my bios settings, but to no avail. Does anyone have any experience with this?
