Hackintoshing without a mac, is it possible?

Hello

I am new to the hackintosh community and i am wondering how to install OS X without a mac (using a VM)

I'm trying to install Mac OS X 10.6 in VMware in order to use Unibeast (or MyHack...?) but after installing i get the error "couldn't allocate runtime area"

is it possible?
