I followed the guide at x220.mcdonnelltech.com, and installed the modified 1.43 BIOS and configured it as written. I installed the DW1510 card and it was not detected by Sierra (fully updated). I restarted the process, this time trying to use it in Windows 10. It did not show up in device manager. I re-installed the wifi card that came with the machine and it worked fine. Put the DW1510 back in and it still didn't register.
I've looked for every DW1510 driver I can find (or any bcm94322hm8l related driver). Some refuse to install, but none have made a difference. I'm wondering if the modified BIOS is actually white listing the unauthorized card? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
