I had successfully installed Mac OS X 10.7.2 (iAtkos L2) on my PC. But I installed Windows 7 again (please dont ask me why). Im going back to Mac again, Im going to develop Mac softwares (using C++), and I got an awesome book to learn from. So, Im going back to Mac (with a good reason).
Now, before I install Mac OS X again, I want to know how to fix my Quartz Extreme problem. I cant go on forever converting movies to MP4 (which takes more than half a day). My processor is Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200. Will it support QE? If not, is there a way to fix it without changing any of my computer parts? The reason Im installing Mac after I get the solution is that some people fixed this problem during the installation. Im willing to take the risk of applying kext and edit system files. If I am required to change system files, can you provide a solution to unlocking those files (You know what I mean, Mac OS X 10.7.2 not allowing it because its dangerous blah blah blah)?
AND, my speakers are making weird noises in Mac (like an old radio). Does it have anything to do with QE?
NOTE: I, AT THE BEGINNING, THOUGHT I SHOULD INSTALL SNOW LEOPARD, THINKING OS X 10.7.2 WAS WAYYYYY TO ADVANCED, BUT I CHANGED MY MIND AND GAVE IT A TRY. IT WAS AWESOME.
NOTE 2: I USED THE BOOT FLAG /mach_kernel IN iBOOT TO REACH THE INSTALLATION.
Here are my specifications (Mac OS X 10.7.2 on my PC is faster than Windows 7!!):
