Hello Hackentoshers,
I'm new to the forum, and I would like to go straight to the question if anyone can help me.
I'm trying to install mountain Lion 10.8.3 from a hacked DVD, and I only have windows based machines.
Now browsing the DVD on my windows comes with the below list of files:
-MAC OS X Mountain Lion DP4.dmg
-os_x_10.8.1_build_12b13_delta_update.dmg
-os_x_10.8.2_build_12c31a.dmg
-os_x_10.8.2_build_12c43_delta_update.dmg
-OSXUpd_10.8.3_12D50_Seed.dmg
Now im trying to install it on my acer aspire one happy edition with Intel Atom N455 (1.6GHZ, 512KB cache)
I've downloaded the iboot v2.2 with Darwin/x86 boot v5.0.132 -Chimera v1.9.1 r1394 and burned it on a CD, now using an external drive the iboot lunched fine until reaching the boot screen , removed the disk and installed the DVD of OSX mentioned above and waited but it was never recognized.
I'm so new into Hackintosh that I don't know what to do.
if any of you would gide me to a tutorial that can help me that would be highly appreciated or any suggestions on what bootloader to try as alternative for iboot.
thanks a lot.
