Ive run into a problem after having a really solid reliable system for the past year now. I never had any problems with installation or any other small issues with the sleep setting and USB 3 always worked fine and the 6870 always worked seamlessly etc.. but after the most recent mountain lion OS update i, like many others, had no sound. I then did a quick reinstall using the latest multibeast to get the sound back again but it was hanging at the apple screen. After realizing I didnt set the graphicsadapter correctly, i got back in to the OS, checked to see if i had sound again (which i did) and opened multibeast again as I just wanted to use the correct graphicsadapter setting again. I restarted expecting all to work flawlessly and now it just goes to black and reboots before even trying to load the OS.
Ive tried numerous boot flags but none have any affect. When I try verbose mode it shows only a few lines worth of information (see screenshot) of which im not really sure of and im quite clueless what to try next.
Can anyone help or shed light on what that kernel is saying?
System:
GA-Z77X-UD5H
i5 3570k
Corsair Vengeance 8 GB DDR3 1600MHz PC3
radeon 6870
SanDisk Extreme SSD 120 GB SATA
