HELP! audio problems on AMD based desktop. #iATKOS

Hi, a few days ago I got my AMD based desktop running OSX 1.6.8 for the first time.

It took me a while to get it running stable in 64bit with 8gb ram.

Everything is working properly except for the on-board audio and USB 3.0.

The on-board audio was just spewing out static constantly even when the computer was making no sound.(both front and back audio outputs)

The USB 3.0 powers my devices but doesn't actually function with my external storage unit.

I thought this wouldn't be a problem since I use a Line6 UX2 USB audio interface.

However, the audio playback on the USB interface was ridiculous.

The audio cracks up and pops every 5-10 seconds.

It's so bad that I can't even listen to KVLT Norwegian black metal on the lowest quality on youtube.

I've tried messing with the sample rates, trying multiple versions of mac drivers, switching cables, trying all USB ports (the 3.0 ports recognize and power the audio interface but doesn't function) and nothing helped.

So I was thinking that maybe the on-board audio was the problem and tried to fix it with multiple kexts (Azalia, Realtek, VoodooHDA) but it didn't even fix the on-board audio.

I've even tried disabling the on-board audio from BIOS.

Everything works flawlessly on Windows 7 so I know it's not a hardware issue here.

Please help. I need OSX to run Logic Pro.

I'm running OSX 1.6.8 with Chameleon installed via modcd+multibeast
