I succesfully installed Mountain Lion OSX 10.8 in my Sony VAIO VPCEH today. Everything was working fine and the MAC was running very well.
But my battery meter was showing no battery, so I searched for a fix and remove AppleACPIBatteryManager.kext and AppleACPIProfile.kext from System/Library/extensions and copied the downloaded kext files to the Extras/Extensions. and restarted by laptop.
Then the laptop showed kernel panic. I tried to do safe boot to restore the original files but while I do safe mode, apple loads and after it reaches the end, the laptop shuts down.
HELP
I tried -f, -x, -x -f, all kind of flags but I cannot boot the mac even in safe mode.
When I boot with flag -f -v -x, it shows problem with AppleACPIPlatform.kext.. cannot link with driver.
What should I do?
