Hi.
I've spent the better of part of two days trying to figure out a solution to this but after much difficulty and not being able to access my BIOS settings [HP doesn't allow you to change things in their BIOS settings], I keep getting stuck at the Apple logo.
I have a HP Pavilion DM4-2165DX.
When I boot after typing -v it ends up hanging with the following lines
ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::start - waitforService(resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUPower Management) time out
Transcript Offline - Buffer Pool Allocate [181000] failed
DSMOS has arrived
[IOBluetoothHCIController][start] -- completed
I'm quite sure I need to change my BIOS settings for this but HP doesn't allow this.
Could someone please help?
I've spent a fair bit of time poking around and would really appreciate if someone could help.
Thank you.
