Hello everyone!
I am new to "hackintosh-ing" and as you can all see this is also my first post on this forum so I lack the experience regarding this matter.
Anyway I have a problem concerning the Edimax EW-7711UMn usb wireless adaptor (it has the RT2870 chipset). I have downloaded the Mac OS X drivers from their website and also the Ralink Utility. The utility recognize my device and it connects to my router.
The problem is that in System Preferences > Network I dont see the 802.1x interface so that I can actually connect to the internet. Every fix that I have tried has been in vain so I would be very happy if someone could offer me some insight regarding this problem.
Morever, this is the only way that I could connect to the internet since my PCI WLAN board and Ethernet board are unsupported(intel centrino and RT73).
Thanx in advance,
Chris.
