Hello all, new to these forums and it has been a while since I have decided to do a Hackintosh.
First of all, my specs.
■ Motherboard: Asus P8H61-I
■ Processor: Intel i5 2400 3.1Ghz Sandybridge CPU (retail version)
■ RAM: 2x4GB Kingston HyperX DDR3 OC3-10666C9 1333MHz dual channel ram
■ GFX: Palit nVidia 460 768mb PCI-E
I used tonymacs Unibeast to create the USB stick (Using the latest download from the APP store)
On first boot for install I had to use "-x -f -v npci=0x3000 PCIRoot=0 GraphicsEnabler=Yes"
Using those boot flags I managed to boot into the install and install Mountain Lion just fine.
But, after the restart post install is when the problems start.
Booting from the HDD with no boot flags I can the apple logo and the spinning thing to show it is loading and then the screen goes blank with "No signal"
So I thought to myself DOH! obviously I will need to use the same boot flags to get into OSX. BUT! even using the exact same boot flags I used to get to the installer I still get the same "No signal" and then blank monitor :(
Am I missing something here?
Cheers in advance for any help.
