Hi,
This my first post here and my first attempt at building a Hackintosh. At this point I have successfully installed Mac OS X Mountain Lion using the method on tonymacx86, which utilizes UniBeast and a USB stick installer. To get the installation to run I had to use several arguments at the UniBeast loader screen. The whole string I used is: -v -x npci=0x3000 pci=off GraphicsEnabler=No cpus=1. I have to use the same string when restarting and booting from my boot drive.
My motherboard is an ASRock X79 Extreme6 with BIOS v2.20. I do not have ethernet detection, nor audio, nor USB 3.0 functionality. My graphics card is an EVGA GeForce GT 610, 2GB. It is reported by Mac OS X as NVIDIA Chip Model 3 MB. I am also unable to use my bluetooth devices (Apple wireless keyboard, Apple Magic Mouse) using the AZIO USB Micro Bluetooth v4.0 + EDR device. As far as I can tell everything else seems to be working. CPU and RAM are reported correctly and my drives are all detected.
After trying multiple kexts found on this site using both Kext Wizard and Kext Utlility I keep getting a screen on boot telling me I need to restart my computer (From Mac OS X), after which I am forced to run the installer again to get Mac OS X to load. I am waiting on someone I contacted via email to send me a modified DSDT for my motherboard so I can try again with MultiBeast. In the meantime, I was hoping someone here can provide a little guidance to help me get this thing working correctly.
I have attached my extracted DSDT and IOreg files if anyone would care to have a look and give me some feedback.
Thank you for your time.
Regards,
Felix "Phlex" Figueroa
UPDATE: Broadcom ethernet port has been enabled and internet is now working using Safari.
