Hello,
I recently was able to install snow leopard on my PC! Everything seems to be working fine, but I just cant get onto the internet. Diagnostics tool doesn't recognize the Ethernet at all.
Here are my specs:
Asrock x79 extreme 6 with Broadcom BCM57781 LAN
Intel 3.6 quadcore 2011 processor
Nvidia GTX680
4GB Ram - will upgrade to 16GB
SATA2 - SSD 120gb (snow Leopard installed 10.6.8)
I just need access to LAN so I can download Mountain Lion. And currently, the only way to boot up OSX is with these tags enabled: -s cpus=1
I would really appreciate any help or suggestions! Im very new to this and Im not sure where I can find/create the DSDT that I need to get this working. Thanks!
P.S. - I used TonyMac's guide to get to the point that im at now.
