[OC 0.6.6] Sleep wake failure in EFI

[OC 0.6.6] Sleep wake failure in EFI

I have faced this issue on my 2nd Hackintosh PC for many days. So, I would like to share my experience to those people who have been suffered from this.

My Specs are as follows:

  • CPU: Intel I5-8400 Coffee Lake
  • GPU: MSI RX560 AERO ITX 4G OC Edition
  • RAM: 16GB DDR4-2133
  • Motherboard: MSI B360M Mortar
  • Audio Codec: Realtek ALC892 (alcid = 3)
  • Ethernet Card: Intel V219
  • Wifi/BT Card: Fenvi T919
  • BIOS revision: V16

The issue is that the PC will successfully go sleeping. After a while, it will wake automatically for unknown reasons, but the monitor will always be turned off. The only thing I can do is to restart my PC, then I got the following error text message.

Full error text macOS Sleep Wake failure in EFI

My Successful Solutions and Settings: Solution 2 + Solution 3 + Solution 5

I tried above solution one by one. However, nothing worked for me. I was really mad. Therefore, I decided trying another way. Then, everything works like a charm and I am really happy with it.

Maybe there are some people who are suffering from this issue. If yes, I hope my experience and solution will be helpful for those in need.
