Hey everyone,
I'm having a strange issue with Bluetooth audio. I have the Fenvi card listed below. Basically, when I have media playing and I have bluetooth headphones on, if I open pretty much any application the audio crackles and will start playing back in a greatly reduced fidelity. The quality is akin to AM radio. I've been able to reproduce the same issue both with my second-get AirPods and my Beats Studios. If I disconnect the headphones and reconnect, it goes back to normal. I've never experienced this with any of my regular Apple devices so I'm confident this is a Hackintosh-specific thing. Here are the kexts I have installed:
- AirportBrcmFixup
- AppleALC
- BcrmBluetoothInjector
- BrcmFirmwareData
- BrcmPatchRAM2
- IntelMausiEthernet
- Lilu
- SMCLightSensor
- SMCProcessor
- SMCSuperIO
- USBInjectAll
- VirtualSMC
- WhateverGreen
And my specs:
- ASUS Prime Z370-A II
- PowerColor Radeon RX 580
- Intel I7 9700F
- Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB
- Fenvi T919 BCM94360CD
I appreciate any and all guidance!
Major Edit: the issue is happening over wired headphones as well. The plot thickens.
