HP Z220 Gets stuck at attempting to boot to the Mojave Installer and I think Ive set this up wrong

Hello everyone,

I am trying to install either High Sierra or Mojave onto my HP Z220 Desktop. I'll give my system specs real quick before diving into my explanation.

Model: HP Z220 CMT Workstation

CPU: Intel Xeon CPU E3-1240 V2 3.40GHz

Ram: 16gb (4x Samsung 1600MHz)

GPU NVIDIA Quadro 2000 (1GB ram)

BIOS Version: 1.87 (latest)

Ethernet: Intel 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection

USB: Intel 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller 1E2D

Intel 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller 1E26

USB 3.0 root hub (2 usb 3.0 ports on the front and 2 on the back)

Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller 1.0 (Microsoft) Storage: Seagate 2tb 7200rpm drive (if I can get this to work I'll upgrade to an SSD)

The storage controllers are: Intel Chipset SATA RAID Controller

Microsoft Storage Spaces controller

Sound: M322i-B1 (the NVIDIA card)

High definition Audio Device (I'm having trouble finding the the make of this since HP themselves dont appear to have an audio driver for this machine its probably a generic chip)

Thats about it. Im mainly looking for some HP users that maybe have done similar workstation set ups because I am beyond frustrated, Im pretty new at this so I tried to follow the vanilla guide to see where it gets me. I tried to follow the config.plist part but I had a bit of a hard time grasping what I was supposed to do since it didn't seem it applied to my CPU.

I believe I am wrong on this. I decided to try and see as it sat to try and get to the installer and see what happens, it worked for awhile and then I think as it was about to launch the installer it got hung up. the last messages it said were "Unsupported CPU" and "Unsupported PCH" then after about 240 seconds it mentioned something about being stuck then nothing. so i reboot to try again and now all it does is reboot.

if you have it in verbose mode you can see that it does the very beginning then reboots with no errors or anything just instantly. thats the part thats driving me a little mad because it seems that no matter what I've done with the USB drive it always reboots.

I have checked with my BIOS and the BIOS on this machine is different than my HP Z800 where I can see everything but this BIOS seems trimmed down and I cant really see some of the stuff I need to change witch makes me think that I possibly have to use a Custom BIOS to change the settings I need?

I've seen on here and a couple other forums that people were able to get mojave and high sierra running on their Z220s with most of the stuff working.

Could it be that my CPU is incompatible and i should switch to an i7 cpu instead?

I think i also need help with my kexts since I'm not entirely sure what my machine needs to function but I at least tried the ones from the vanilla guide and unless it was those I may be missing some. If someone here has an HP Z220 that can share their EFI folder i would sincerely appreciate it as maybe i could see what I'm doing wrong.

I sincerely appreciate any help you guys can give me because I cant really think of too much that this machine would need unless I really need to modify the config.plst or something.

Edit: Added some more hardware information.
