4k monitor vs 144Hz vs ultrawide

Hey guys,

I am in the market for a new monitor, but I’m a bit unsure what kind of monitor to get.

I use my Hack with a GTX1070. I boot in windows for gaming. For this purpose 4K is less suited. But how well does OSX support higher than 60Hz frame rates?

For OSX I do prefer 4K, but I see challenges connecting true retina monitors as the LG ultra fines to a hack.

My current selection:

Ultra wide LG 34um88c Dell u3818dw

144HZ Acer nitro vg271up Or similar
