Random freezes on High Sierra

My hackmac has been freezing randomly on High Sierra and I'm completely stumped. I've tried everything I know, eliminated every possible cause I've found on the internet, and the worst part is, the logs contain nothing helpful at all, so I don't know if it's my computer's fault or Apple's for releasing this spectacular dumpster fire of an OS. It worked flawlessly on El Capitan and Sierra (upgraded from El Cap), and High Sierra was installed fresh.

In addition, it only freezes while I'm actively using it. As long as I leave it alone it'll keep running. But with Safari and Visual Studio open I get about 1-2 hours out of it before everything goes unresponsive EXCEPT the mouse pointer. I left it alone like that for about 15 minutes one time to see if it would recover, and all that happened is the mouse pointer grew (from me wiggling the mouse).

My setup: Dell N5050 - macOS 10.13.2 on APFS - i3-2350M - HM67 (6-series) chipset - Intel HD 3000 graphics - 8GB RAM - 480GB PNY CS1311 SSD (with TRIM enabled) - Atheros AR9285 wireless - DSDT patched to fix half-brightness

What I've tried: - Updating FakeSMC and VoodooHDA - Removing every non-Apple kext I don't need (i.e. Soundflower) - Changing a few Clover options (disabling "inject Intel", setting "PCIRootUID=1" and "darkwake=0") - Disabling Speedstep in the BIOS

If it helps, here's a kextstat listing my non-Apple kexts.

I appreciate any advice you guys can give me. If I have to download Sierra from the MAS and go back I will, but I'd rather not.
