How many of U have tried to install windows on a Hard Drive that is Partitioned With Gpt.
And I am Sure U would have Tried To Run Bootcamp on ur Hackintosh.
And the Bootcamp utility must have kept on pooping a dialog box that ur boot rom version needs to be updated.
But don't worry Thanks to Jimi For pointing out What The boot camp app actually does.
The Bootcamp App is Just a Gui friendly version Which partitions Ur Hd and the partition on which u want to install windows if formatted with Fat nothing more than this it does.
So Here are the Steps To install Windows On Ur hard disk Partitioned with Gpt.
1. Make A Seperate partition on ur hd and format it with Fat and not with any other filesystem.
2. Insert ur Windows Installation Disk and in the Windows Installer format the Partition that u
Earlier formatted with Fat With NTFS.
3. Install Windows on ur Just formatted Partation with NTFS.
4. Remember Doing So Will Screw up ur chameleon booter Installation,
So Before installing Windows make Sure U have Chameleon BOOT Cd or Make a chameleon
usb. i.e. Get ur self a pen drive format it with hfs partation and install Chameleon On that
Pen drive.
Remember to copy All ur Extra kexts and org.chameleon.boot.plist and dsdt and other Stuff on to that pen drive.
